I have the same thought every couple of weeks whether it's with my P-01, PCR or SP-01 Tactical. The only Glock that I can shoot near as accurately as my CZs is my wife's G-19C. I keep carrying the G-30SF because I'm old(er) and stuck on the .45 ACP. I guess I should get with the program and carry my PCR or P-01 - more rounds and more accuracy. With the modern SD 9mm ammunition (Speer Gold Dots, Winchester PDX1, etc.) and the aforementioned more rounds/better accuracy I should have confidence carrying the P-01 or PCR!
I was thinking that too until I recalled that Speer was making a very fine performing 125 grain 9mm bullet thirty years ago that performed quite well. I also recall opening up several prairie dogs with 90 grain Super Vel loads. Back then, even with good performing bullets, the 9mm was considered a "minor" caliber. Hard ball 9mm is spectacularly ineffective. I realize that we have had improvements in bullet technology, but 45ACP is still much better than 9mm Luger. With snapping trigger springs, FTE and FTF jams of the CZP-01, I wonder if a person might be better off with an XD45 Compact, G-30 or Lightweight 1911 Commander.
Still the P-01 is a heck of a shooter, I find it is effortless to dial right in to a target. I also like the safety of the trigger system. Just wish I was confident in the reliability aspect.
