I am sorry guys but I have to announce that I’m selling both of my CZ85Bs. Maybe Todd really got me with his “Zed is not your friend” article. I’m going to get some more modern, more reliable and durable pistol that is not is not as heavy as the CZ. I've spent some nice time here, but regarding the pistol, its design I have to admit that and this is based on my experience it is NOT as reliable as the Bretta 92 or the Glock 17/19.  Cry

Ladies and gentlmen, PM the poster about the firearms for sale, and let's please NOT make posts slamming the member for his choices or the reasons behind them.

Guys, guys I am not selling my guns here! I am from Bosnia & Herzegovina, I am NOT an american citizen. There wasn't any need for posting this thread here. A wouldn't have bought my pistols if I didn't like them. I am still a hardcore CZ75 design fan! Maybe I'll change my mind after all.

BTW armoredman, do you work for CZ-USA? Please don't get me wrong but after reading hundreds of you posts at different gun-forums I feel like you are paid to promote the company and its products. Am I right? Smiley

maybe next time you'll be a little clearer in your post then there won't be any confusion. As for Armored Man, he's not paid by anyone to promote CZs, but this IS a CZ board, so what exactly would you expect?

I wish I was paid! Cheesy
I make posters and posts because I like to, I like the product, the company, and the people behind them.  Smiley I alos own other manufacturers firearms and make posters for them as well, but nearly as much as for CZ. Look at some of my Smith and Wesson revolver pics sometime.
Sorry, didn't know you aren't a US citizen, that was never posted on any of the boards you posted on, nor that you are a "hardcore CZ75 design fan", but that's OK, everyone has thier likes and dislikes. I do have to say I am pleasantly surprised that you can own, (and carry?), good pistols in your home country, nice to see that more places in Europe allow thier citizens the proper tools for self defense.

IRFAN:  If that was an 85 Combat, I'd  help you out by buying it if the price was right.  Good looking B.

Irfan- Just curious.  Why did you feel it necessary to announce your intention to sell on this board?

I really don't know what to say. I posted the same thread on many forums not just this one. I wanted to express my dissatisfaction with the CZ I had but also I've pointed out some good aspects regarding its design and why I like the pistol. And this is the purpose of this forum and also other gun forums that anyone can share his opinions and experience with others so that a new buyer can know what to expect from some particular handgun.

Irfan given the CZ Shadow is the winningest pistol in IPSC Production and I can say with some certainty the most popular IPSC Production gun in Canada I guess there has to be a reason for it.

For IDPA though, the striker fired pistols such as the Glock and M&P seem to be gaining more popularity in SSP Division and in fact are in the hands of the present Champions in all three pistol divisions.  That said, guys like Savigny, Hobdel and Leatham could win shooting stock Tokerovs so I am not sure what the top shooters shoot means much.

I too shoot some pistols better than others but I don't recall a crying need to announce the fact across the internet world.  I guess I figured that nobody really cares, apparently you do.

Take Care

Todd would have diff opinion on CZs if those particular shooters had good ammo, cleaned/maintained guns and one in particular didn't have half of extractor claw missing. He didn't know that till after the course was over  Grin
