I"ll send a range report on Sunday.  This is the third CZ I own. CZ 75SP01,CZ75P07 duty in 9MM and this new one CZ75B. I read many of good thins about this gun. Like any CZ they are great guns. I'm going to try to take photo's and post them also. OLD guys are not too computer ready.(me) Huh?

I'm an olphart too and just ordered my fourth CZ today, a CZ 85B, my second one in twenty years. My 1991 '85 has fired in excess of 2,000 rounds without a failure. Welcome to the SDI Club (Sudden Divorce Index). If you're gonna have to live in a tent, you'll at least have some nice guns for your trouble!!

Although we are required to grow older we are not required to grow up.

My pistol I’m using for this range report is the CZ75 B. I know it’s one of the first models made and still shows to be one of the best firearms made.  My gun has the fixed sights three dot system and what I like is the sights are green. For older shooters it’s easy for me to pick up the sight easy.

I fired my gun form two different ranges 15 yards and 10 yards using three different types of ammo, Focchi 123 gr 9mm, Federal 124 gr 9mm, and Winchester 127 gr plus P 9mm. The results were great nice tight shot groop the came out to be about 2.5” using each type of ammo.  Most everything in the 10 ring and Two in the 9 ring from me.

No complaints of fail to feed or magazine jamming also no problems with the magizne sticking in the mag well. I believe this gun will feed rocks if we can load in a magazine. For you Photo lookers I’m trying to put them on the later as soon as I can figure out this computer system.

 This is my third pistol for CZ pistol and will not be my last. I have a Glock 22 Gen 4 .40 S&W, Smith and Wesson M&P .40 S&W, a Beretta 96 in .40 S&W, Witness Elite Match in .40S&W. a Taurus 605 in .357, CZ 75 SP01,CZ75P07 Duty, and CZ75 B.

I love them all but the CZ out shoot all of them combined.  For those of you who shoot IDPA and thinking about buying a new pistol get a CZ75B. of any of the other CZ models.

How your story resonates with me! I've just bought a 75B - 40. I had Angus' shop put in the aluminum trigger and make it SAO. I've got a competition hammer going in next week, then I'll do a range report. Dry firing was fantastic, even without the comp hammer. I can hardly wait! Grin Grin Grin

I ordered my CZ 75 B Stainless yesterday and now I'm already trying to justify the CZ 75 Compact .40S&W! I already have a G23 and G27. Logically, this makes no sense. Is it possible to develop a CZ addiction before you ever see or feel one in person?

A desire for the Compact is sufficient justification for the purchase. Wink

Nice. Thank you. Writing check as I type. The other justification in my mind would be the sweet design and reduced recoil I understand is inherent to the CZ 75 B, lets say as compared to the Glock!
But in reality, I'm going to give my Wolff G23 22# springs a chance first before I sign another big check.   Shocked
