Hi everyone.  Finally got my pistol permit!  Looking to purchase my first pistol.  It will serve in home defense and range work, not for carry.  Found a good price on a NIB PCR. What do you think.

Hello and welcome to the CZ forum from Texas.  You can't go wrong with a CZ PCR.  Good choice.  Dusty

I tote mine in a Cross Breed Super Tuck and like it a lot.  So much so, I put laser grips and a Beretta mag base plate on it.  They're good guns, you could do a lot worse.  Here's mine and some other carry guns.

Hello and welcome jsl. The PCR is my favorite among all my handguns... the reliability, ergonomics and accuracy of it are fantastic. I think if you've found a good deal on a NIB one (or a used one) you should jump on it.

Here's where it gets tricky.  I also found recently online an even better price on a NIB cz75bd ($399.)  Tough choice!  Would prefer the pistol with best ergos, ease of handling(recoil, ect.) and accuracy.  Any thoughts?  Thanks.

I have handled but never fired a CZ75BD, but I would imagine it might fulfill some of those needs slightly better than the PCR, since carrying concealed is not what your looking for.
