This price has me seriously thinking about trying another P-07. My first one, about a year ago had a major trigger problem. Hammer wouldn't fall in SA. DA trigger worked fine. Pistol felt/pointed/shot excellent. Sent it to CZ, and returned to me and the problem was still there, just not as frequent. So I traded it off.

But what makes me a little hesitant is there seems to be quite a few posts by people still having problems with the newer P-07's. I know that CZ, in most cases, will make it right. I'm still on the fence. But the ergonomics and accuracy of the P-07, especially at $399, is pulling me in.

I don't have any probs with mine, as of yet. But you are correct, the price is difficult to turn down. Just to give you an idea of the prices around where I live: Went to academy sports and bought one for 399 + taxes. They said that they wouldn't be getting any more P07 duty for at least 3 mos. So I call my usual gun store to ask if they can match academy's price or go even lower. My usual gun store tells me that 399 is below his cost and tells me that he couldn't match academy. He acts baffled as to why academy has them so low. Begins to ask me if they were on clearance or if it was a damaged model. I then go online to galleryofguns and do a search for the p07 duty around where I live. Everyone of the stores has them listed for over 550. So I buy the last one at academy. This was around the time when buds had there's for 430 shipped. If I were you, I'd buy one NOW. jmho.

I wish Bud's would get the P-07 in 40S&W for $399, I'd be all over that.

Just ordered one from Bud's yesterday. Price was $414 OTD($410 since I used credit card and $4 for insurance). Best price I have found for it anywhere. My first CZ and I am feeling like a kid again, lol.  Grin

For those who have bought their gun from this Bud's special: Do you have the mag drop problem? Does it have a lanyard loop?

Thanks.

I just ordered mine last night for the same price.  Even with the cost of a transfer, beats the heck out of what a local shop wanted for the P-07 (about 560 if I remember correctly).

I just picked mine up today from my FFL. There is no lanyard loop but there is a round piece of plastic where one looks like it could be attached if the plastic was removed. I initially did not have the mag drop issue when the mags were empty, after I put 15 rounds in one and tried again it didn't drop but after a couple more times of inserting and releasing it started to fall freely again. That only happened with one mag, the other mag with 15 rounds worked every time. Also I did notice a slight bulge as well like others have, but I'm not worried about it since it doesn't seem to affect the safety or performance from what I've heard.  If your wondering the serial is A6XXXXX

Thanks Nubes, that's exactly what I wanted to know. It's a great price. I'm trying to decide between this or just going for the PCR.  I prefer both.  Grin  Enjoy your pistol!

I just got mine from Bud's.  No bulge and mags drop like a rock with any amount of ammunition in them.

Also, the mags rattle with an even number of round in them, but not with an odd number of rounds.  However, when in the gun, no rattle at all when fully loaded  :-)

I only wish that Bud priced the .40 the same as the 9mm. Here's his listing for the .40 http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/manufacturers_id/407/products_id/62346

First post here. I ordered one last week, received it on Friday. It's at CZ-USA for Mag drop problems right now. Luck of the draw. Hopefully mine comes back in tip top shape.

Hello everyone. This is my first post, but i have been lurking here for quite awhile. I also bought a P07 from buds last Sunday. Received it tonight. Hope to get it to the range tomorrow night. As of yet the mags drop free every time. I'll post after i send a few hundred rounds thru it.

Gordon

P.S. this is my second CZ.
