I would be cautious with the Omega Trigger system as its so new. On closer inspection, the omega trigger system is very similar to the Sig trigger system. The barrel significantly changed to accommodate and once again, a lot of resemblance to the Sig barrel. BTW, the barrel feed ramp isn't stainless and has a nasty (grey) finish that comes off with rounds fired (yuck). Not that nice stainless feed ramp feel that guarantees a smooth feed.
I will admit that it is significantly simpler but it appears to be more of a copy than a novel CZ design. The current platform has been in place for a long time and works just fine. This is a significant redesign that closely mirrors a Sig. Not sure what the advantages are over purchasing a proven Sig but you do lose interoperability with other CZs.
As an example, the Duty, which uses the Omega will accept CZ-75 mags. However, given the cant in the Duty mags, they wont fit a P-01. :-(
Companies do product releases on 'early adopters / enthusiasts'. Be careful about giving any company your money until reliability and performance is proven.
Just my two cents.

Have an SP-01 (Phantom), looking for CZ carry pistol. What's to compare (choose) between the P-01/02 and the PCR?

P-01. Solid carry choice for pistols. That or the Glock 19.

If you like CZ grip angle, P01 or PCR. Can't stand Glocks, personal opinion.

P01 or a CZ-2075 RAMI BD, which is a bit smaller, but the controls are the same.

Sorry FOMA. never say glock 19 in the same sentence with P-01. You can shoot lead through a P-01 all year long with no problems. Do that with Glock and you'll need hand surgery when the KaBoom occurs! P-01 = Best Damned pistol I have ever shoot.

Can't argue with your last comment. The P-01 is a solid weapon, no doubt about it. :-) Personally, I'm not a fan of Glocks but will give credit when it's due. The Glock does rough the hand up more than necessary when shooting large quantities of ammo. I put 600 rounds through my P-01 in under 1 hour. No issues of any kind, pistol or me. The light alloy frame is a different discussion.

Looks interesting. Too bad we in CA will only be able to admire from a distance. No mag safety lock, no approval in CA. And if micro stamping were an available technology, that would have to be included also for us to be able to buy it. Sad, sad situation.! ! ! Can't buy a shadow either. :-(

Not too many miles east of you is Free AZ. C'mon over before we set up The Wall, complete with cactus launchers and coyote throwers, to stave off the hordes of Gucci wearing, empty Evian bottle clutching leftists fleeing thier former mecca.

Why, thankee kindly, sah! P02 will interchange like the P07 with the safety or decocker, and I think if this works as advertised, (which they usually do), the wave will be all CZ carry type pistols will be offerred with this setup, so both the cocked and locked types and us decocker types can have what we want. I am looking forward to this next year.

Now would I say anything about the Christmas Giveaway? Nope! You're just gonna have to wait like everyone else...
