Can anyone tell me how to go though this process or maybe it has been posted before I looked and could not find it? I'm tired of the trigger pull on my SA/DA, the creep is really bad and I don't need a DA anyways because I usually carry condition one. I really appreciate any tips advise whatever to help me. Thanks in advance!!!!

Install SA trigger and remove the disconnect.  Not sure about the hammer.

Or you could carry it at half-cock.

the factory hammer worked fine with my SA trigger. you may actually want to stay with the factory hammer so you don't have to mess with the safety like you would have to with a cz competition hammer.

i wonder if the fpb still works the same though. i never thought about that. maybe someone else will chime in. maybe it will depend on how you set up the trigger. i have mine set so that a bare twitch of the finger sets off the sear.  you could set it up with a longer length of pull so it works with the fpb.

are you talking about the actual creep as the sear  moves on the hammer or the pretravel of the trigger before it contacts the sear?Huh?

to convert to SA only..requires new trigger and remove the disconnector ( L-shaped part connected to the hammer)
FPB block will still work.
the SA trigger may or may not be drop in..have seen both..some require some fitting for the trigger bar to work correctly. as said above..a new hammer will require the safety and sear be fitted also.

if you are talking about the creep of the sear moving on the hammer..the hammer hooks will need to be recut to eliminate that creep..or install a new comp hammer..which will require the sear/safety be refitted.

To install new trigger..you will need to disassemble the gun in its entirety..removing the ejector housing, trigger/trigger bar. think there is a step by step in the gunsmithing FAQ

my SA trigger in my SAO thread, i showed that i just needed to remove the finish around the trigger pin to make it fit. just some 400 grit and a few wipes around the pivot point.

i have a reassembly guide with pics in my 40b site... just do it in reverse to disassemble. pretty simple, just keep a couple zip loc bags around so you don't lose the small stuff.
